So I heard on a local Right Wing Talk Show this 85 year old life long demo indicate that she is voting for McCain because basically people are being mean to Palin. What the F*#$! In the great words of Walker, Ricky Bobby’s son on Talledega Nights “Greatest generation my ass”. I am sorry, I could drive a car until 16, vote until 18 and drink a beer until I was 15, wait 21, but we allow people to drive until they are 92 and vote. I am sorry, I understand they deserve my respect and I do open doors and allow older people other niceities, but this is ridiculous. Take note, that these are the same individuals voting down property taxes for schools because they do not have kids. Hey grandma, I am paying into the social security system more money in one year, than your salary paid in a lifetime, so pony up the money for better schools. I am paying into a system that will never benefit me anyways.

Basically I hate our country because A) don’t fool yourself, Obama and any other policican does not really care about you and your family. They are all ego maniacs and they are searching for the next hit to get high off of. B) just one election I want people to actually vote for what matters, C) i want people to stop voting for what does not matter. Separation of church and state is critical part of the formation of our country, however, why is it always an issue come election time. I could care less if you believe in Zues, can you run this country and help ensure prosperity? D) can we do away with parties, i am so tired of people voting based on party affiliations. Bush was supposed to lower taxes and balance the budget because he was Repulican, wow, have you seen the budget for next year, literally I can not even fathom how much money that is, oh and thanks for helping the rich. They are way more important than the single mother working three jobs and has no health care. Reagan tried trickle down economics, it does not work.

Anyways, on a better note, the Rays are still in frist place. How sweet it is. Additionally, congrats to Brett. Someday we will hang out again.

Apparently this douche (seantristin.com/portfolio) just doesn’t like to listen and loves my work so much. I have now asked him to remove his blatant rip off of brettnyquist.com three times with the last one getting a response, stating he removed it 3 months ago. I have now begun the process of getting a federal copyright certificate which will allow me to bring these issues into a court. That might seem a little extreme but when someone continually takes credit for my work and doesn’t have any common sense, I feel the need to pursue further action.

I would like to thank Mr Sean Tristin Wragg or whoever you are. Now that you have re-posted my work I have all of the information and evidence that I need to push this to the end. Thanks again buddy.

Well Smoothpiece is starting to look outdated and moldy, kind of like everything in my lanai closet. So I’m going to start mocking up some new designs to freshen this thing up and hopefully add some new functionality. Make this site a little more enjoyable for the 5 people that visit.

On a completely different note, I would like to announce my resignation from the No’Mam club. Reena and I are now engaged. Obviously none of the specifics have even been discussed yet as she can’t seem to break concentration from the ring on her finger. It’s been a whirlwind around here for the past few months and I don’t see things slowly down for awhile. Once I have more information on the wedding and everything else I will keep you all informed.

If I lose all my money because I am an idiot and did not realize that the house always wins and that it was my choice to bet all my money, will you fix it for me? I know I should have known better, read the odds, realized that losing a bet means losing money, but what they heck, it will be fun. If i cry loud enough, someone will help me when I lose everything.

Seriously you are going to spend 300 billion to bail everyone out because they made poor choices. Um lets see, where could that 300 billion go to? Maybe schools, healthcare, the poor. That sounds like a good idea. No, instead lets give money to John Doe, that bought a house for 400,000, will no income verification, makes 30,000, has a credit score of 530, and only qualified for ARM and does not understand what “ADJUSTABLE” means. My kid is only 2 weeks old, bet he knows what ADJUSTABLE means. Where else in the world can you make a stupid financial investment and get bailed out because you were so stupid. Gotta love this country.

Final point. The government is going to help all these people out, but someone with cancer is forced to file bankruptcy because of medical bills. Not right.

I have been MIA lately so I decided to write something on Brett’s blog again. Sorry, even though the world continues to baffle and destroy my spirit, I have not had time to post my daily rants. So here are some quick thought:

1. When will the world respond to Darfur? Seriously? Does anybody care about Africa or its people?
2. What is the deal with Nurses and breast feeding. They make everyone feel like they are a horrible parents if there child does not suck from the teet for five years. This is why, real conversation by the way.

The little guy is due July 8 and not much time left. Cannot wait. Already have the I hate the Yankees T Shirt so he is good to go. He only needs one shirt right?

I am sure this is a problem for anyone that has had a design featured on CSS galleries. People will take those designs and just rip them completely. They don’t bother changing any part of the site, except a simple logo adjustment. It’s one thing to take a design and use it as influence, but when you completely rip a design and then take credit for the items in that portfolio, that crosses the line. Usually these rips are from firms/designers outside of the US, which makes it impossible to pursue any legal action. Luckily for me, this tool is homegrown.

This douche even felt like ripping my resume. Copied the objective and modified one of my job positions to reflect his own. The reason why people like this disgust me is the fact they are using someone elses work to get more clients, apply for jobs. I don’t have as much of a problem with this tool completely ripping the design and resume as I do with him taking credit for the work that I have done. There really needs to be an easier way to exploit these designers and easier legal action to attack them. Luckily for me, one of the sites he wishes to take credit for, is a local law firm that would be more than willing to help me out in possible action.

I’m thinking I need another sweet toy to add to the collection to help build some motivation. My office is running stale with the same old gadgets and we all know how much a new piece of equipment can spice up the office life. Not sure if it’s a new computer, monitors, paint, desk, lamps, time capsule, iPhone.. who knows. I do think it’s time to make a little purchase. With the looming announcement of the new iPhone I don’t think I’ll be falling for that one. I just got mine back in December. I don’t have any real complaints about it, so I’m going to try and tune myself out from anything iPhone 2.0. Now if they want to release a new monitor or some other sweet gadget for me to spend my cash on, great.

If anyone has some other ideas of a sweet new tech toy that would help for the office, let me know.

Hillary seems to just be hanging on to this faint idea that she has a chance to win the nomination. She’s even gone as far as making up her own mathematical equation to claim she is winning the popular vote. She fails to count every state and only the ones that have benefited her thus far. She is really starting to reflect the same attitude of Bush and keep pushing through a dying situation, throwing more money out the window and tearing apart the democratic party.

I think she really needs to just go away and start supporting Obama so the democrats don’t completely blow their hopes of winning the presidency. All of this back and forth is just adding fuel to the Republican campaign. With all of the crap that congress has promised and what’s actually happened, now this continuous bashing of each other, things just get worse and worse as each day passes by.

Give it a rest lady.
